ParkBee welcomes Udo Kock as a Supervisory Board member.
Former deputy mayor and city council member of Amsterdam, Udo Kock is appointed as a member of ParkBee’s Supervisory Board
Udo is also a supervisory board member of museum Rembrandt House and the Advanced Center for Nanolithography (ARCNL) and chairman of the NV Haagse Milieu Services. He formerly served as a senior economist at the IMF in Washington, DC, and as IMF ambassador for the West Bank and Gaza in Jerusalem.
Udo Kock: ‘Strong growth and an increasing population density in European cities create more pressure on the public space. ParkBee’s smart tech solutions, together with its dense network of off-street garages, can help cities reduce the need for on-street parking. In doing so, we can create space for more trees and facilities that increase the liveability of cities.’
Werner Paul Boerma, CEO ParkBee: ‘We are extremely happy with Udo’s arrival. With his experience in – and commitment to – public affairs, he will be able to help us in strengthening our dialogue with European cities.’
With this appointment, Udo is succeeding Martijn Lopes Cardozo. From the outset, and as a board member from 2017 onwards, Martijn has played a key role in ParkBee’s development and has actively supported management. We are most grateful for Martijn’s unstinting commitment to ParkBee throughout the years.
